Why you should vote for me!

• My primary focus will be to bring jobs to this constituency. An MSP can get through many doors – but then must be prepared to work hard to persuade businesses to come to this constituency.
• I will listen to constituents concerns and needs and keep in touch with their true wishes.
• I will make sure the voices of the people whom I represent will be heard in the Scottish Parliament and beyond.
• I will work hard to manage the impact of the savage budget cuts, firstly from the previous Labour Government, and then from the Tory/Lib Dem Coalition.
• My only focus will be Midlothian North & Musselburgh and Scotland. I am not distracted by party politics and horse trading in London.
• I believe in the straightforward values of truth, justice, and most importantly – fairness. These values may have become corrupted by all too many politicians but I still have faith that most of us hold them in high regard even now.
• I bring a wealth of national and international experience and skills both through a successful career in the finance sector and, more recently, as an elected Councillor.
• I will not exploit my expenses for personal financial gain. My record as a Councillor, where I have claimed no expenses at all, stands for all to see.
